What a great experience. Wonderful and quick service. We'd booked a table so didn't have to wait to be seated. We both had the pork belly which arrived perfectly cooked and served within, what felt like 10 minutes. Hot and cold drinks where well made and the service was really really friendly. We can't wait to go back. Thanks for making an already memorable trip, golden.

The staff were uber friendly and attentive, especially the front of house host. The menu was great, small and perfectly selected. The food did not dissapoint and the pork belly was to die for. We had the Sunday sharing roast (for two people). Really sumptuous plate of three meats and a variety of vegetables. Really good value. Waited over an hour for our food to arrive but we were given complimentary drinks to compensate – which was really appreciated (as we didn’t ask). Would recommend this venue, an enjoyable experience.

Amazing venue, and a really great lunch. The beef brisket burger was delicious, and the pork belly with an Asian slaw was just perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff, which is always a plus these days! The Sunday Roasts start again from 5th October, and we have already booked to try those. This is a great place for a leisurely afternoon out, and the food and drink prices were very fair, I thought.

Amazing food and location 😋 staff are amazing and really helpful.
Lovely and clean restaurant and bar. Food was great and the Nachos were massive, I’d recommend sharing! Plus you get to look at planes land and take off, while eating meat. What’s not to like!

The food is amazing was little dissapointed that they didn’t have the ribs I was after apparently they cancelled them but I had nachos which were absolutely amazing very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone. The staff are very attentive 10 out of 10.

I Took my parents for breakfast today at lore of the sky at Compton Abbas airfield and it was OUTSTANDING! All the items on the breakfast were really high quality, fresh meaty sausages, well cooked bacon, juicy field mushroom, baked beans, toast, tomatoes all perfectly cooked over an open fire kitchen and well presented. My father commented on it was the best breakfast he has had in years!! Service was friendly and efficient with a lovely relaxed ambiance and magnificent views over the Blackmore vale. 10 out of 10 and we will definitely be returning soon.Delicious food, friendly service and a excellent location. Couldn't have asked for more!
